NOVEMBER 16th, 2008: A bus, filled with 44 passengers left KL for MARAN temple. Sorry! late registrants had to be turned down. A pleasant trip; in a pleasant bus with a good driver. It was only RM45 per person. (Watch out for the next trip: coming soon)
August 3rd, 2008: The Sri Petaling Branch of the Malaysian Ceylonese Congress, had its second General Meeting, and a new in coming committee elected. Pictures, details of the incoming committee elsewhere in this blog.
June & July 2008: Attempts made to set in motion BUSINESS MEET, for us, who are in business or want to do business to meet, on a regular basis, and exchange business contracts. Know ourselves. Who can be of service to whom. GROWTH WITHIN,to be launched again.
February 2, 2008: A national level project for 500 Tamil classes in the country was launched.At Dewan Soma in KL, the stage and screen offerings were with the help of Sivaji Ganesan Mandram. The entertained auudience returned with an A3 Tamil alphabet chart each and a 16 page boolet on "Tamil- all aspects". Project report elsewhere.
September 2, 2007: WEALTHY HEALTH DAY was a full day exhibition at the community hall in Sri petaling. Medical talks, blood bank, and several exhibitors had a full day with the public. 500 visitors, each took home soya milk worth RM30/-
